What we collect
ZedPing collects business name, email address, phone number, and subscription details when you sign up. We also store message logs and contact lists that you upload to the platform. We do not collect personal data beyond what is necessary to operate the service.
How we use your data
Your data is used solely to provide the ZedPing service: sending messages, managing automations, and maintaining your account. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.
Your customers' data
Contact lists you upload (names, phone numbers) are stored securely and used only to send messages on your instruction. You remain the data controller for your customers' information. ZedPing acts as the data processor.
Data protection
ZedPing operates in compliance with Zambia's Data Protection Act No. 3 of 2021. We are registered as a Data Controller with the Data Protection Commission of Zambia. All data is stored securely using industry-standard encryption.
WhatsApp & Meta compliance
ZedPing uses the official Meta WhatsApp Business API. All messaging activity must comply with Meta's WhatsApp Business Policy. You are responsible for ensuring your contacts have opted in to receive messages from your business.
Data retention
Message logs are retained for 12 months. Account data is retained while your account is active. On account closure, data is deleted within 30 days unless legal obligations require longer retention.
